BRIEF
Mark Steel Apartments presented many challenges, including environmental issues, rezoning, a demo of current structures, and work along the Jordan River. However, we successfully performed a total rezone, working with local regulators to create this amazing apartment complex. The Mark Steel Apartments are in the heart of Salt Lake City, just minutes away from downtown. This project stands as a great example of what is possible when you have the right team to take on your projects.
APPROACH
We needed to work with the state and city to get a rezone and avoid issues with environmental conditions. The Jordan River is also next to the property, which added a unique challenge to the project.
OPPORTUNITY
The property was in an outstanding location near downtown in a growing region where demand for housing and units is exploding.
SOLUTION
We were able to get the property rezoned and environmentally cleaned up to create an incredible project that allows for downtown living in one of the nicest locations in the country.
RESULT
The finished project was an amazing property that is outstanding and unique. The downtown Salt Lake complex has amazing rental rates and amenities. This property is truly one-of-a-kind and unlike anything else in the region.
